Retailers are facing very different trading conditions post pandemic, and there is continuing uncertainty in the forecasts for the coming period. It is vital that retailers of all sizes should have a clear strategy of how they can adjust and plan for the new environment, ensuring they are aware of the key trends in innovation within the retail space and tools available to enhance online sales through multiple channels. As such the Retail Management in a Post Pandemic Environment - E Commerce and the Retailer programme aims to provide retail owner managers with a clear understanding of the importance of exploring the various E-commerce platforms to maximise sales. 

Programme Structure:
• 1 x Group Workshop Training Session (On-line interactive webinar)
• 2 x 1 to 1 Mentoring/Consultancy with each client in person/on-line
• 1 x Group Workshop Training Session (On-line interactive webinar)

Programme Overview:
Whilst most SME Retail Managers have benefited from eCommerce Training & Constancy, many have yet to develop a clear, effective Plan as to optimising business potential utilising technology, e-marketing, e-sales, e-commerce and an Omnichannel Strategy. This short, focused programme allows participants to:
(i)               Review their current e-Commerce performance and competencies,
(ii)             Over two, one-to-one sessions, company tailored assistance, advice and training to formulate a clear plan
(iii)            Gain the skills and develop a programme to get the best business results through dovetailing & complementing e-Commerce and traditional Retail activities

Depending on the outcome of the performance review, the Consultant can cover various topics including:
- Maximising sales opportunities through online options
- websites, marketplaces
- Commercial basics for your website to ensure it is working optimally
- Planning, staffing and resourcing your E-commerce presence

Programme Objectives:
Upon completion Owner/managers should have developed a clear strategy for their online element of the business and have a clear understanding of the issues and opportunities and have identified core actions to take.

Eligibility

Applicant must have a physical retail premises in County Louth and have an ecommerce website. Franchise operations are not eligible.
